Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

Updated

Summary

Soulmate Sketch (soulmatesketch.net) collects only what it needs to run the site and the free AI sketch tool. Quiz answers and sketches are deleted after 14 days. We do not take payments, so we never see your card or PayPal details. When you click a link to a product we recommend, we log the click in a privacy-friendly way and then send you to ClickBank or the seller.

This policy explains the details. In it, "we", "us" and "our" mean Soulmate Sketch, which is run by Soulmate Sketch Artists, 2661 29th St SE, Suite B, Grand Rapids, MI 49512, United States. Soulmate Sketch Artists is responsible for your personal data (the "data controller"). "You" means anyone who uses the site.

What we collect

Quiz answers

When you use the free AI sketch tool on selected pages, we collect:

  • Who you are interested in (a man or a woman)
  • Your birth date, which we use to find your zodiac sign and a fitting age
  • The background you picture for your soulmate
  • Up to two vibe traits
  • A first name, only if you choose to add one

Sketches and readings

We store the sketch and reading made from your answers so you can view and share them.

Email address

We only collect your email address if you give it to us, for example when you email us or ask us to keep you updated. We may keep an email address that someone gave us earlier.

Payment details

We do not take payments on Soulmate Sketch, and we no longer run our own checkout or launch list. When you buy a product we recommend, such as Tina Aldea's soulmate sketch, the payment is handled by ClickBank or the seller. We never see or store your card or PayPal details.

When you click a link to a product we recommend, we log:

  • The page and button you clicked from, and the page language
  • The time of the click
  • A hashed (scrambled) version of your IP address, not the IP address itself
  • Your country

We use this to measure which pages help visitors. We then send you to ClickBank or the seller. They have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies, for example to record that you came from our link. Please read their policies to see how they use your data.

Technical data

Our site runs through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages quickly and protect the site from attacks and abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, to see general information such as which pages are visited.

Messages to us

If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can answer you.

Why we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Make your free sketch and reading
  • Show you your results and let you share them
  • Measure which pages lead to clicks on the products we recommend
  • Send updates, only if you asked for them
  • Answer your messages
  • Keep the site secure and working
  • Understand, in general terms, how the site is used so we can improve it

If you are in the EU or UK, we rely on these legal bases:

  • Contract: to make the free sketch you ask for and show you the result
  • Consent: to send emails you asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: to keep the site secure, to understand site use in a privacy-friendly way, and to measure affiliate link clicks
  • Legal obligation: to keep records where the law requires it

Who processes your data

We use these service providers to run Soulmate Sketch:

  • AI image services (OpenAI and/or Google): create your sketch from your quiz answers
  • AI text service (DeepSeek): writes your reading from your quiz answers
  • Cloudflare: security, content delivery and cookie-free web analytics

These providers act on our behalf to provide the service. Some of them may process data in other countries, including the United States and China. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

ClickBank and the sellers of products we recommend are not our service providers. When you leave our site through an affiliate link, or buy from them, they collect and use your data under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising cookies.

Cookies

We use two functional cookies. One remembers which page you first arrived on, so we can show you the right content. The other is a random ID that counts how many free AI sketches you made today, so the daily limit works. Neither tracks you across other websites.

Our analytics are cookie-free. ClickBank and sellers may set their own cookies after you follow an affiliate link. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our site will still work.

How long we keep data

  • Quiz answers and sketches: 14 days, then deleted
  • Affiliate click logs: up to 6 months, then deleted automatically. They never contain your full IP address.
  • Email address: until you ask us to remove it, or until we no longer need it for the reason you gave it
  • Messages to us: as long as needed to answer and follow up

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • See the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct data that is wrong
  • Delete your data
  • Object to or limit how we use your data
  • Get a copy of your data in a common format
  • Withdraw consent at any time

EU and UK (GDPR)

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the rights above under the GDPR. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. We would welcome the chance to help first, so please contact us.

California (CCPA)

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to ask us to delete or correct it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How to use your rights

To use any of these rights, email hello@soulmatesketch.net. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. We will respond within the time the law requires. For data held by ClickBank or a seller, please contact them directly.

Children

Soulmate Sketch is only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has used the site, contact us and we will delete their data.

Security

We use HTTPS and Cloudflare security to protect data as it travels between you and the site. We collect as little data as we can, delete quiz data after 14 days, and store only a hashed version of IP addresses in click logs. No website can be fully secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date on this page. If we make a big change, we will show a clear notice on the site. For the rules that apply to using the site, see our terms of service.
